This was my initial attempt at designing a library that would be community orientated and try to draw more people into the library. However this was unsuccessful as the bridges made it less community oriented as people were confined to tight passage ways based on my feedback.

This was my first Demolition Plan, and I was particularly interested in creating a more public oriented design to the library, allowing for easy access from multiple locations whilst also creating flow with the building. I also really wanted to remove the boring Russell street entrance and repurpose./renovate that areas
The Idea here was to create public space that was easily accessible while also having a more exciting facade to its side like the front has. Also wanted to connect both intersections to the building as they are both spots that have a direct sight into the library. The glass floor also allows for a gallery like sighting to what is beneath the library (possibly looking at famous books or gallery items that the public can't touch).
