Task 12
This was my initial attempt at designing a library that would be community orientated and try to draw more people into the library. However this was unsuccessful as the bridges made it less community oriented as people were confined to tight passage ways based on my feedback.

Task 7
The purpose of this Task was do read the book 'The Library Of Babel' and construct a visual understanding of how the book was explaining the imagined library, our individual work was to create a model that described how we envisioned the library they spoke of whilst also embedding architectural qualities from another precedent, In my case Piranesi and Mc Escher and combine it with my models form. The purpose was to develop an architectural language.

This was an interior perspective of y model showing the Hexagon gallery room the book spoke about leading into the corridors. This image depicts my visual understanding of how interpreted the book.
I took the original concept idea from the book and made the library look like a toy building to illustrate how they author dictates how infinite the library becomes. I took up architectural language from Mc Escher and Piranesi with a graphic design style and which visual aesthetics of the continuous stairs and chaotic nature, whilst also having form ans structure within it.

I created three Posters that all followed my imagination of the book whilst depicting in through different styles and through different visual scales. For instance, I created a real life perspective interior, a toy like building poster, and a building that was soo large and lost in space. Never the less, they expressed my depiction of the book in terms of an infinite library that was chaotic but still had some direction within it as does Piranesi's design of the prison.
