This was my initial attempt at designing a library that would be community orientated and try to draw more people into the library. However this was unsuccessful as the bridges made it less community oriented as people were confined to tight passage ways based on my feedback.

This section really helps to understand how the spaces within the library work, and how people can move from floor to floor. It also helps to show all the public space available including the underground state park that helps to reduce the skaters at the front of the library.
At this point, I had developed a successful architectural language, and just needed to keep progressing on it base on the feedback I received from my Tutor. I Also started to design my own action that would progress towards a clear image that portrays my concepts for the final design. The Section Cut was important as it explains the levels and how floors interact and the passages that go with the library.
Theses interior views help to show and contrast the new (modern) from the old (heritage) as this library's concept heavily evolves around the heritages spaces to create a type of tourist attraction
These exterior views show the library and its purpose off really well, showing off its new facade that is more engaging with the community to all the pathways that run up to the top of the library.
