After taking feedback on board from my Mid sem crit that my design lacked architectural language but had a good concept, I decided to completely scap the original library design and start over but still keeping the same concept and floor plan the same. The ability to understand what was wrong and rework it became important to me in this task as I knew my architectural language was pulling my concept doen. So prior to this design I spent a full week studying architect and architectural languages as a way to find my own form from it. This really helped me enhance my thinking and understanding of having a specific architectural language instead of just random design forms which is what my Mid Sem design had.
