This was my initial attempt at designing a library that would be community orientated and try to draw more people into the library. However this was unsuccessful as the bridges made it less community oriented as people were confined to tight passage ways based on my feedback.

Based on the feedback from Mid Sem Crits, I decided to completely redesign my library but keep the same concept in order to develop a strong architcualm language. However in order to decide on a style I had to do a lot of research on different architects and really understand what it meant to have an architectural language. This set me up for the rest of the semester.
These basic images were simply digital sketches to help me with my concept/layout going forward.
The blue sectioned image shows roughly how I was deciding to keep the ground floor lay out the same from my previous desire in terms of the path ways that would run through it, but it would be completely redesgned.
