This was my initial attempt at designing a library that would be community orientated and try to draw more people into the library. However this was unsuccessful as the bridges made it less community oriented as people were confined to tight passage ways based on my feedback.

The purpose of this task was to broaden everyones thinking, be crazy, wild and think out side of the box. The reason for this, is that it allowed people to narrow down on a specific concept by either choosing one or by merging concepts together, which will become the core precedent to the forms and layout of the library that we designed going forward.
This became 80% of my concept for the final design of my library, however through the process of elimination, I decided to narrow my self down to this concept but also merging aspects of some of the other concepts into the top one. This task really helped me to choose a concept when I felt confused on where to start.
The plans and sections were a side task to help develop our personal skills with drawing techniques and the ability to understand how to read the drawings. These exercises really helped us in the final Tasks leading up to the finals as it helped me to gain a better understanding of not only how to lay out the drawing but also how the library itself works and how it is layed out within the library itself.
