This was my initial attempt at designing a library that would be community orientated and try to draw more people into the library. However this was unsuccessful as the bridges made it less community oriented as people were confined to tight passage ways based on my feedback.

This task was an extension to the previous task, further helping us to pick a concept for our library re-design. This helped me to visualise the concepts to see which ideas we liked better when in production, it gave us a taste of alternative concepts. The diagrams along side the collages helped to wrap my mind around each concept in a more metaphoric language which helped me understand what I wanted to do with each concept and how I wanted it to put certain things into hierarchy.

The plans and sections were a side task to help develop our personal skills with drawing techniques and the ability to understand how to read the drawings. These exercises really helped us in the final Tasks leading up to the finals as it helped me to gain a better understanding of not only how to lay out the drawing but also how the library itself works and is layed out within the library itself.
